Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry‑level Registered Nurse for our Chaska, MN outpatient dialysis program. The RN CAP 1 will coordinate care, assess patients, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes within an interdisciplinary team.

You will participate in teaching, leadership functions, and quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and facility operations while completing CAP requirements for advancement.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years in nephrology nursing
• On‑the‑job training provided
• Capable of coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical nursing duties under supervision and guidance
• Collect and analyze patient data before, during, and after hemodialysis
• Educate patients and families on care plans and treatments
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy with the team
• Administer medications as prescribed or per algorithm and document outcomes
• Respond to emergencies and escalate as needed
• Collaborate with team for care planning and lab coordination
• Ensure proper lab specimen collection and processing
