Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Professional Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 track within the Clinical Advancement Program. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for an assigned patient group in a dialysis setting.

You will collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians, administering medications as prescribed, and participating in education for patients and families, with a focus on quality improvement and care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for assigned patients.
• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Delegate tasks to RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians as appropriate.
• Administer medications as prescribed or per approved algorithms.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and patient education.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current appropriate state licensure

Current or successful CPR BLS Certification
