Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient CAP1 program. You will provide and coordinate care, perform assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluation for an assigned patient group in a dialysis setting.

Responsibilities include collaborating with RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians, documenting in the medical record, ensuring safety, and supporting education and quality improvement activities within the team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Document data collection and treatment plans in the patient medical record.
• Educate patients and families about care and treatment modalities.
• Deliver safe dialysis therapy and coordinate with care staff.
• Administer medications per physician orders or approved algorithms.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in staff training.
• Ensure proper specimen collection, processing, and lab communication.
• Provide leadership and support to Patient Care Technicians/LPNs/LVs/RNs as assigned.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current appropriate state licensure

Current or successful CPR BLS Certification
