Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 track. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an assigned group of dialysis patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

You will work under supervision with a focus on CAP advancement, education, and quality improvement, coordinating with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and patient care technicians to ensure safe, effective hemodialysis treatment and patient education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure in good standing.
• CPR BLS Certification.
• Entry level RN with less than 2 years nephrology nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis and document in medical records.
• Adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment options.
• Administer medications per approved algorithms and document effectiveness.
• Provide critical support in emergencies and clinical decision-making.
• Supervise and orientate junior staff as assigned.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current appropriate state licensure

Current or successful CPR BLS Certification
