Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry level RN for the Outpatient CAP1 program in a dialysis setting. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, assess patients, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes under supervision.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety, accuracy in medication administration, and adherence to regulatory standards. This role involves patient education and potential travel for training as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments and documents care plans.
• Delivers hemodialysis care under supervision and with team collaboration.
• Administers medications as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Educates patients and families on treatment plans and dialysis procedures.
• Coordinates care with RNs, LVN/LPNs and patient care technicians.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and safety initiatives.
• Ensures accurate laboratory collection and results documentation.
• Performs duties in accordance with policies and state/federal regulations.
