Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. The RN will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease care team, you will participate in teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities, with opportunities to mentor and guide staff under supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in nephrology nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis and update care plans.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care plans.
• Deliver hemodialysis therapy safely with the care team.
• Administer medications per approved protocols and document outcomes.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Assist with staff training and orientation as assigned.
