Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP program. You will coordinate and deliver nephrology care, perform assessments, and educate patients and families while collaborating with the healthcare team in a dialysis setting.

The role includes leading daily care activities, administering medications, and supporting emergency responses as needed. Requires RN licensure and CPR/BLS certification, with CAP progression possible as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments and documents data for assigned patients during dialysis.
• Delivers and coordinates care, including education for patients and families.
• Administers medications as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Directs daily safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy with staff collaboration.
• Participates in emergency responses and staff training.
• Maintains lab collection procedures and follows up on missed labs.
• Identifies outcomes and updates the plan of care with the team.
