Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 designation to join the Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for dialysis patients, participate in health care team decisions, and educate patients and families about treatment options.

The role involves direct patient care during hemodialysis, delegation to staff as needed, and adherence to policy and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS Certification.
• Must meet state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned patient group.
• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care during hemodialysis.
• Educate patients and families about care needs.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Assist with supervising staff and training as assigned.
