Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Professional Registered Nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 track within the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). You will coordinate care, perform assessments, plan interventions, and evaluate outcomes for an assigned patient group in a dialysis setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state of employment.
• Entry level RN with <2 years of nephrology nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Delegate tasks to direct patient care staff under supervision.
• Administer medications as prescribed or per approved algorithms.
• Deliver daily hemodialysis therapy safely and effectively.
• Participate in staff training and orientation.
• Ensure correct laboratory collection and processing; update nursing assessments and care plans.
