Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Lacey, WA, is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) at entry level for the Clinical Advancement Program. The role focuses on assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group during hemodialysis, with supervision from a Nurse Leader and Clinical Educator.

You will document patient data, educate patients and families, administer medications per protocol, and support the dialysis team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN license.
• Current or valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 9 months experience as an RN; 3 months in nephrology dialysis.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for dialysis patients.
• Document patient data before, during and after hemodialysis and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on treatments and self-care.
• Lead and delegate tasks to the care team under supervision.
• Ensure proper laboratory collection and specimen handling.
