Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse under the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP 1) to provide and coordinate clinically competent care for dialysis patients in an outpatient setting. You will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care, with supervision and collaboration from the nursing team.

Responsibilities include data collection during dialysis, education for patients and families, and safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy.

Qualifications

• Nephrology nursing experience is entry level (RN) with less than 2 years.
• Hemodialysis experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; current state RN licensure; CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential nursing functions under supervision from the Supervisor and Clinical Educator.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during pre-, during-, and post-dialysis; documents in medical record and adjusts plan as needed.
• Educates patients and families about care, treatment options, and disease processes.
