Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for its Outpatient CAP program. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for dialysis patients, coordinating with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and technicians under supervision.

The role emphasizes education for patients and families, medication administration, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes and facility operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure.
• Current CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.
• Entry level RN with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient data pre-, during-, and post-hemodialysis and adjust care plan as needed.
• Coordinate and deliver safe hemodialysis therapy with the care team and supervise technical staff.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and transplant options.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness and justification.
• Support emergency responses and participate in staff training and quality improvement activities.
