Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP program. This role delivers and coordinates clinically competent care for an assigned patient group, participating in teaching, leadership, and quality improvement within the End Stage Kidney Disease team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Entry-level nephrology nursing preferred; 2 years or less experience.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform essential RN duties with guidance from educators/leadership.
• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis; adjust care plan as needed.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options.
• Lead safe delivery of hemodialysis in collaboration with care staff.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document outcomes.
• Support emergency response and staff training.
• Ensure proper lab collection and processing.
• Document nursing assessments and update care plans with the team.
• Travel for training or to other facilities may be required.
