Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse in the Outpatient RN CAP 1 designation into the Clinical Advancement Program. This role provides and coordinates clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients in the End Stage Kidney Disease care team.

You will collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians, participate in teaching and quality improvement activities, and support facility operations

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians to deliver safe hemodialysis therapy.
• Document patient data, adapt plan of care, and educate patient/family as needed.
• Contribute to staff training and orientation and participate in quality improvement activities.
