Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a leader to oversee the daily operations of an outpatient clinical practice, ensuring excellent customer service for patients and visitors. You will plan staffing, manage workflows, and support clinicians and staff with efficient processes.

Responsibilities include supervising front desk and clinical support, optimizing scheduling, overseeing referrals and billing, and driving quality assurance and staff development in collaboration with the Manager/Director.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years related work experience.
• Experience in a clinical/healthcare setting.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access).

Responsibilities

• Plans and oversees work assignments and schedules for front desk and clinical support areas to meet daily operational needs.
• Monitors provider schedules to maximize patient scheduling efficiency and flow.
• Oversees referral management and billing processes and may provide staff education; provides regular revenue cycle and volume reports.
• Implements and oversees quality assurance processes in collaboration with management.
• Provides ongoing feedback on training needs and performance; supports staff development.
