Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Port St. Lucie, FL seeks an Office Assistant Float for full-time employment to support multiple outpatient clinic locations.

You will greet patients, handle check-in/out, answer calls, and help manage supplies in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate has an AA (Bachelor’s preferred) and at least three years of front-office experience in healthcare, with strong customer service and HIPAA knowledge.

Qualifications

• AA required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least three years of experience in a health care setting, outpatient clinic setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check them in/out; direct to appropriate departments.
• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of office spaces and waiting areas.
• Monitor and replenish office supplies; coordinate maintenance of equipment.
• Communicate appointment reminders and test results to patients.
• Adhere to HIPAA and clinic policies in all administrative activities.
