Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in West Palm Beach, FL seeks an Office Assistant Float for our outpatient clinic. This full-time position supports multiple Florida offices from the West Palm Beach base, handling reception, patient check-in/out, and patient communications.

The role requires strong administrative skills, a minimum AA degree (bachelor’s preferred), and at least three years in a health care setting, preferably outpatient.

Qualifications

• AA degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least three years of experience in a health care setting, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage in time of need to offices in South Florida with base location at West Palm Beach office.
• Greet patients, check them in/out, and direct them to appropriate departments or waiting areas.
• Accept inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of office spaces and waiting areas.
• Monitor and replenish office supplies and medical forms; coordinate maintenance/repair of office equipment.
• Assist in communicating appointment reminders, test results, and other pertinent information to patients.
• Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA) in all administrative activities.
