Job summary

Spectrum is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to connect with communities and represent our high-speed data and communication solutions. The role emphasizes face-to-face engagement, driving customer adoption, and meeting sales targets.

Expect a base salary with incentives that can push total compensation beyond $100,000 annually. You’ll mostly be outdoors, with occasional office time, and must be able to travel in your assigned territory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years sales experience
• Ability to travel door-to-door to assigned territories and company facilities
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and introducing Spectrum’s offerings
• Conduct needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each prospective customer
• Present sales proposals that align with customer needs and Spectrum’s solutions
• Complete all required sales documentation accurately (dispositioning, order entry, reporting)
• Participate in sales meetings and training to support team goals and development
• Achieve monthly sales targets across Spectrum products (data, mobile, landline, video)
• Monitor competitors’ activities and report relevant information to your manager
