Job summary

Spectrum is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to connect communities with Spectrum’s high-speed data and communications services. This role emphasizes face-to-face engagement, needs-based selling, and achieving targets while working primarily outdoors and adapting to various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Engaging interpersonal skills.
• Ability to listen, formulate needs based sales strategies, and articulate pitches to sell products and services.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and drive own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and presenting Spectrum offerings.
• Conduct needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each customer.
• Present sales proposals that align with customer needs and Spectrum solutions.
• Complete required sales documentation including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Participate in sales meetings and training to support team goals and development.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services.
• Monitor competitors’ activities and report findings to your manager.
