Job summary

Spectrum is seeking an Outside Sales Representative in California to connect residents with Spectrum’s high-speed data and communication services through face-to-face visits.

You’ll acquire new customers, conduct needs analyses, present tailored proposals, and drive sales across high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services. Expect a base salary with lucrative commissions, and incentives that can push total compensation above $100,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Ability to engage customers face-to-face and present Spectrum offerings clearly.
• Experience in consultative sales and ability to tailor solutions to customer needs.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territories and work evenings/weekends if needed.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and introducing Spectrum’s offerings.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each prospective customer.
• Present compelling sales proposals that align with customer needs and highlight Spectrum’s solutions.
• Complete all required sales documentation accurately, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Participate actively in sales meetings and training sessions to support team goals and professional development.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline phone and video services.
• Monitor competitors’ activities within your territory and communicate relevant information to your manager.
