Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking full-time Roadway Maintenance Technicians to keep highways safe by performing debris removal, guardrail and sign maintenance, pothole repair, and drainage work while following MOT requirements.

This outdoor, hands-on role requires operating equipment (skid steers, loaders, rollers, tractors), responding to emergencies, and joining on-call rotations. Candidates should be willing to work day or night shifts, weekends, and holidays and pass background

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to operate hand/power tools safely.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background screening and testing.

Responsibilities

• Pick up debris and roadway hazards to improve safety.
• Install, repair, and replace guardrails, signs, and safety devices.
• Repair potholes and pavement using asphalt and concrete.
• Maintain drainage and clean culverts and ditches.
• Set up traffic control devices and manage work zones.
• Operate equipment and document work with company apps.
• Respond to emergencies and snow/ice operations as needed.
