You will enter orders and shipment details, coordinate with carriers, track progress, and prepare shipping docs. Strong Excel and MS 365 skills, plus clear customer communication, are essential for success.

This is a temp-to-hire opening with steady daytime hours and a commitment to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and recordkeeping.
• Excellent, professional communication skills with customers and operational teams.
• Experience in the lumber/building materials industry or inventory-related processes.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Logistics, warehousing, or transportation experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain customer orders and shipment information accurately.
• Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to schedule and fulfill orders.
• Track shipments, maintain detailed records, and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate professionally with customers, drivers, and partners by phone and email.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation.
• Perform general office duties as required.
