Genuine Parts Company is seeking an Outbound Operations Supervisor to lead the outbound team, ensuring efficient pulling, sorting, packing and loading of orders while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role reports to the Outbound Operations Manager and emphasizes engagement, empowerment, and continuous improvement across the warehouse. Strong leadership and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years’ experience in distribution center or similar environment.
• Ability to comply with safety requirements and DC safety protocols.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Capability to lift/move heavy items up to 60 lbs.
• Forklift and pallet jack certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise outbound operations and instruct employees on work processes.
• Design and maintain organization of yard, trailers, and loading areas.
• Enforce safety, security, and cost-control policies; drive process improvements.
• Monitor budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead warehouse associates, promote engagement, and solve operational issues.
• Coordinate with DC management to investigate and resolve shipping errors.
• Schedule team hours for peak periods and ensure coverage.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading, receipts, and asset protection.
