Job summary

NAPA is seeking an Outbound Operations Supervisor to lead and optimize all pulling and outbound shipping activities. You will design efficient, repeatable methods for the outbound teams, ensuring safe, timely, and quality loading of freight while maintaining a culture of engagement and problem-solving among teammates.

You will supervise warehouse staff, coordinate with DC leadership, monitor costs, and implement improvements to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced distribution

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of distribution center experience or similar environment.
• Able to follow safety requirements and DC safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise outbound operations and instruct staff on how to perform work.
• Design and maintain organized yard and trailer setups for efficiency.
• Enforce safety and security rules and ensure safe loading procedures.
• Monitor budget awareness and drive cost-saving improvements.
• Lead and mentor warehouse associates to empower problem-solving.
• Investigate shipping errors with team to prevent recurrence.
• Schedule staff to cover peak periods and optimize throughput.
• Ensure assets and equipment are used and maintained properly.
• Lead processing of outbound orders, cross/docks and special orders.
• Seek process improvements to reduce costs and boost efficiency.
• Oversee nightly truck-load reconciliation and truck loading protocols.
• Ensure compliance with factory returns policies and supplier guidelines.
