Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts in Middletown, DE is seeking an Outbound Operations Supervisor to lead the outbound team, drive efficient picking, packing, and shipping activities, and design methods for safe, high-quality, timely execution.

Reporting to the Outbound Operations Manager, you will reinforce engagement, empower teammates, and solve problems while maintaining compliance with safety and budget goals. The role requires lifting up to 60 lbs and forklift/pallet jack certification.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of experience and education.
1+ years' experience within a distribution center or similar environment.
Ability to comply with all safety requirements pertaining to job functions and general Distribution Center safety requirements.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
Strong organizational skills detail oriented.
Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.
Basic computer skills required.
Must be capable of lifting/moving heavy items up to 60 lbs.
Must be forklift and pallet jack certified.

Responsibilities

Supervise and implement efficient outbound operations by instructing employees how to perform work and monitoring progress.
Design and maintain organization of truck yard operations for efficient trailer movement and safety.
Drive adherence to safety rules and secure environment in all outbound processes.
Monitor budget considerations and pursue cost-saving process improvements.
Lead warehouse associates, fostering engagement and problem solving.
Investigate and resolve shipping errors with DC management to prevent recurrence.
