Job summary

NAPA is seeking an Outbound Operations Supervisor to lead the outbound team in pulling, packing and loading shipments efficiently and safely. You will design standardized methods, mentor staff, and enforce high-performance standards while fostering engagement and problem-solving across the team.

The role requires 1+ year in a distribution center, strong safety focus, and capability to manage budgets and continuous improvement initiatives. A forklift/pallet jack certification is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 1+ years’ experience within a distribution center or similar environment.
• Ability to comply with all safety requirements pertaining to job functions and general Distribution Center safety requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills detail oriented.
• Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be forklift and pallet jack certified.

Responsibilities

• Supervise outbound operations and instruct employees on how to perform work.
• Design and maintain organization of truck yard operations and ensure safety protocols.
• Lead cost-saving initiatives and process improvements across outbound functions.
• Oversee timely and accurate processing of outbound orders, cross/docks, stock orders, and special orders.
