Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years' experience in a distribution center or similar environment.
• Ability to comply with safety requirements and DC safety rules.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and use good judgment.
• Basic computer skills; capable of lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Forklift and pallet jack certified.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and implement efficient outbound operations by instructing employees and monitoring progress.
• Design and maintain organized truck yard operations, trailers, housekeeping, and safety protocols.
• Develop solutions to enforce security and safety rules for outbound processes.
• Support budget planning and cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead warehouse associates, promoting engagement and empowerment.
• Collaborate with DC management to resolve shipping errors and prevent recurrence.
• Schedule team hours for peak periods and ensure coverage.
• Protect assets and ensure proper receipts for all outbound shipments.
• Lead efficient processing of outbound orders, cross/docks, stock orders, and special/UPS/Will Call orders.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
• Foster a culture of engagement and decisive problem solving.
• Oversee reconciliation of truck loads nightly and loads integrity.
• Design and implement protocols for shuttle truck orders and loading.
• Ensure compliance with factory returns guidelines.
