Job summary

NAPA in Kansas City, MO is seeking an Outbound Operations Supervisor to lead pulling and outbound shipping. You will design efficient methods, supervise warehouse teams, and ensure safe, accurate loading and timely fulfillment of orders.

You will drive process improvements, manage yard organization, and enforce safety and cost-saving initiatives while mentoring staff and coordinating with DC management to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years’ experience in a distribution center.
• Forklift and pallet jack certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Strong safety compliance mindset.
• Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Experience in automotive or retail DC preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office, Promapp, Power BI, Visio.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and implement efficient outbound operations.
• Design and maintain truck yard operations and safety protocols.
• Lead cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
• Schedule team hours to ensure peak period coverage.
• Investigate and resolve shipping errors with team.
• Ensure proper loading of trucks and accurate receipts.
• Lead outbound orders including UPS, Will Call.
