Job summary

Napa Auto Parts is seeking an Inbound Operations Supervisor to lead a team responsible for receiving freight, stocking and related processes. You will design efficient methods to ensure loads are scheduled and received on time, reconcile paperwork, and maintain sellable stock while fostering a culture of engagement and problem-solving.

Reporting to the Inbound Operations Manager, you will oversee intake, put-away, and reconciliation of inbound loads, and work with DC management to minimize

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 1+ years’ experience within a distribution center or similar environment.
• Ability to comply with safety requirements and DC safety standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build cooperative relationships.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good judgment to follow detailed instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs and operate warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inbound operations, instruct staff, monitor progress and troubleshoot.
• Design and maintain organization of inbound freight, receiving dock, storage areas and protocols.
• Ensure safety rules are followed and safety training is upheld.
• Support budget awareness and cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead warehouse associates and promote engagement and problem-solving.
• Investigate and resolve receiving errors with the team to prevent recurrence.
• Schedule team hours for peak periods and efficiency.
• Protect assets and ensure proper receipts with all inbound activity.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and drive process improvements.
• Foster engagement, mentorship, and empowered decision-making.
