Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience within a distribution center or similar environment.
• Ability to comply with all safety requirements pertaining to job functions and general Distribution Center safety requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
• Strong organizational skills detail oriented.
• Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be capable of lifting/moving heavy items up to 60 lbs.
• Must be forklift and pallet jack certified.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and implement efficient outbound operations by instructing employees and monitoring progress.
• Design and maintain organization of truck yard operations, trailers, housekeeping, maintenance and safety.
• Promote adherence to security and safety rules, ensuring a safe environment for employees and proper loading procedures.
• Monitor budget planning and enforce cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
• Lead warehouse associates, fostering engagement and empowerment to solve problems and make decisions.
• Investigate and resolve shipping errors with DC management to mitigate future issues.
• Schedule team hours for peak periods and efficiency.
• Protect assets by ensuring equipment is used and maintained, and receipts are secured.
• Lead efficient methods for processing outbound orders, cross/docks, stock orders and UPS Will Call.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Foster a culture of engagement and empowerment and mentor team members.
• Oversee reconciliation of truck loads to ensure proper loading.
• Design and implement efficient protocols for shuttle truck orders and loading.
• Ensure team follows company and supplier guidelines for factory returns.
