MCI is seeking experienced collections agents in Savannah, GA to recover past-due consumer accounts. After training, you will negotiate payment terms, maintain positive customer relationships, and work toward recovery goals in a professional environment.

Prior contact center or customer service experience is required; this role offers paid training and a pay structure tied to performance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words per minute).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Reliable with regular attendance and punctuality.
• Customer service oriented with empathy and responsiveness.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Reach out to open accounts using contact center technology and ethical recovery strategies.
• Negotiate payment terms with empathy and professionalism.
• Make outbound and receive inbound calls.
• Follow scripts, policies, and procedures.
• Attend meetings and stay up-to-date with training materials.
• Meet monthly goals and contribute to program knowledge updates.
