Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp is seeking an Advanced / Senior Outage Management Specialist within the ADMS Reporting & Analytics group. The role focuses on outage analytics, dashboard development, and cross-team collaboration to stabilize and scale analytics tools.

Responsibilities include supporting distribution analytics platforms, coordinating issue triage with IT vendors, and creating documentation and guidance for end users. Travel within the FirstEnergy footprint may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in an engineering or IT related discipline. or 5+ years in IT/Engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to work across organizations to form consensus.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Understanding of the FirstEnergy storm restoration process.
• Experience with database query tools such as TOAD or SQL.
• Willingness to travel within the United States and the FirstEnergy footprint.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of distribution analytics software and pilot platforms.
• Coordinate issue triage, defect tracking, and resolution with IT and vendors.
• Develop documentation, process flows, and user guidance.
• Monitor data accuracy and reliability across systems and dashboards.
• Develop, test, and maintain dashboards and analytical tools for insights.
• Provide analytical support during storms and major outages.
