Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp is seeking an Outage Management Specialist for the ADMS Reporting & Analytics group. You will support outage analytics, OMS dashboards, and related tools, partnering with Operations, Engineering, Regulatory, Capital Portfolio, and IT to scale analytics initiatives.

You will help stabilize new data sources, improve reporting, and enable tool deployment across the organization. Strong teamwork and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in an engineering or IT related discipline or 5+ years in IT/engineering.
• Demonstrated teamwork and ability to work across organizations to form consensus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to data quality and accuracy.
• Experience with outage data analysis and analytics tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support distribution analytics software and pilot platforms.
• Coordinate issue triage, defect tracking, and resolution with IT and vendors.
• Develop documentation, process flows, and user guidance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical tools for system performance insights.
• Analyze outage data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide analytical support during storms and major outage events.
• Ensure outage information is accurate and consistent for customers.
