Job summary

The Outage Management Specialist within the ADMS Reporting & Analytics group at FirstEnergy Corp is responsible for supporting distribution reliability reporting, analytics, the OMS dashboard, and outage management tools. This role partners across Operations, Engineering, IT and Regulatory teams to implement analytics tools, ensure data accuracy, and enable scalable grid modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

Associates degree in engineering or IT; or 5+ years in IT, DCC/TCC operations or engineering.
Strong teamwork and ability to work across organizations to form consensus.
Ability to solve complex problems and multi-task across projects.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills; attention to detail.
Willingness for occasional travel within the FirstEnergy footprint.

Responsibilities

Support distribution analytics software and pilot platforms in daily operations.
Coordinate issue triage, defect tracking, and resolution with IT and vendors.
Develop, test, and maintain dashboards and analytical tools for actionable insights.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across the organization.
Assist with outages data analysis, storm support, and regulatory data requests.
Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, IT, and Regulatory teams.
