Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated, located in New Orleans, seeks a supervisory professional to oversee all operating departments within the OTB & Casinos framework. The role requires directing hourly staff, ensuring compliance and maintaining equipment readiness, while supporting marketing promotions and safety procedures.

Must be 21+, able to obtain required Louisiana racing licenses, and bring 1–3 years of customer service and supervisory experience to a dynamic entertainment environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in supervisory or hospitality operations.
• Ability to supervise multiple departments and ensure policy compliance.
• Strong cash handling, security awareness and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handles all aspects of customer relations
• Directs, schedules and supervises all hourly staff
• Ensures daily that equipment within the facility is in working order and arranges repairs or preventive maintenance
• Posts daily programs and results (video poker and pari-mutuels)
• Ensures compliance of all operational procedures and personnel policies
• Assists in marketing promotions at the facility
• Accurately counts, balances and prepares shipments of large amounts of cash
• Interfaces with facility manager to promote harmony
• Assists with facility safety and security; food safety and emergency procedures
• Recruits hourly staff and recommends hiring decisions
• Trains, coaches and motivates hourly staff and decisions affecting terms of employment
• Performs other related duties as assigned
