Job summary

EY is seeking an Onsite Field Support Engineer – OT to enable site readiness, coordinate infrastructure, onboard assets, validate implementations, troubleshoot issues, document activities, and ensure a smooth support transition in operational technology environments.

The role requires broad technical capability across infrastructure, networking, endpoint support, and practical OT environments, with strong problem-solving and field execution discipline. Travel to onsite engagements is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in field support, infrastructure support, networking, cybersecurity, industrial technology, or implementation roles.
• Experience supporting site-based technology deployments, infrastructure implementation, or operational readiness activities.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, IP addressing, VLANs, routing/switching concepts, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel and support onsite implementation activities as required.

Responsibilities

• Site Implementation Support: onboarding, readiness, and deployment activities for OT and industrial environments.
• Network and Infrastructure Support: installation, validation, and troubleshooting of network and security infrastructure.
• OT Asset Onboarding and Inventory Support: documentation and onboarding of OT assets.
• Testing, Readiness, and Troubleshooting: connectivity validation and defect tracking.
• Documentation and Support Transition: maintain site implementation notes and handoff documentation.
