Job summary

EY is seeking an Onsite Field Support Engineer – OT to enable site readiness, coordinate infrastructure, onboard assets, validate deployments, troubleshoot issues, document activities, and transition support.

The role requires broad infrastructure knowledge across networking, endpoint support, and practical OT environments, with strong problem-solving, field execution discipline, and collaboration with site personnel, engineering teams, vendors, and remote support groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience preferred.
• 5+ years of field support, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, industrial technology, or implementation roles.
• Experience supporting site-based technology deployments, infrastructure implementation, or operational readiness activities.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, IP addressing, VLANs, routing/switching concepts, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel and support onsite implementation activities as required.

Responsibilities

• Site Implementation Support: onboarding, readiness, deployment activities for OT and industrial environments.
• Network and Infrastructure Support: installation, validation, and troubleshooting of network and security infrastructure.
• OT Asset Onboarding and Inventory Support: identify, validate, document assets and support platforms.
• Testing, Readiness, and Troubleshooting: assist with testing, connectivity validation, and defect tracking; coordinate escalations.
• Documentation and Support Transition: maintain deployment notes and transition documentation; support handoff to steady-state teams.
