Job summary

EY is seeking a hands-on Onsite Field Support Engineer – OT to enable site readiness, coordinate infrastructure, onboard OT assets, validate deployments, and support transition activities in operational technology environments.

The role requires broad infrastructure and networking skills, strong problem-solving, and effective coordination with site personnel, engineering teams, vendors, and remote support groups. Travel to sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience in IT/engineering/cybersecurity/computer science.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel and support onsite implementation activities as required.
• Experience with site-based technology deployments and industrial environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support site onboarding, implementation readiness, and deployment activities for OT environments.
• Assist with site surveys, readiness checks, deployment logistics, and preparation.
• Coordinate local field activities with project teams, site personnel, vendors, and support teams.
• Identify access issues, site constraints, environmental limits and dependencies affecting implementation.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting for connectivity, endpoint, OT assets, and infrastructure.
• Maintain site implementation notes, deployment records, and support transition documentation.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience
