Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks an OT Cyber Defense Specialist to protect Dow's global manufacturing environment. You will serve as an OT SME, develop OT-focused detection and monitoring, and lead investigations of security events affecting OT and enterprise systems.

This role demands deep OT engineering knowledge and strong cybersecurity acumen, with mentorship to the CSOC team. The position is based in Midland, MI or Houston, TX, requires US work eligibility, and offers comprehensive benefits and career growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience at or above US E5 or Canadian equivalent or 5 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant OT/cyber experience.
• Deep OT/IC tech knowledge: DCS, PLC, SCADA, industrial networks, manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as OT subject matter expert on industrial control systems and OT networks.
• Lead OT-focused detection use cases and monitoring capabilities.
• Investigate security events in OT and enterprise environments with threat hunting and forensics.
• Evaluate emerging threats and translate intelligence into defensive actions.
• Develop detection content, playbooks and incident response guidance for OT.
