Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Defense Specialist to join the CSOC, located in Midland, MI or Houston, TX. The role focuses on protecting Dow's manufacturing environments by detecting, investigating, and responding to OT cyber threats.

You will serve as an OT SME and influence OT security strategies across industrial sites. The ideal candidate brings deep OT/ICS experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate risks to technical and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience at E5 rank or Canadian equivalent, or 5 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 3 years relevant OT/cybersecurity experience.
• Deep OT/ICS knowledge: DCS, PLC, SCADA, OT networks.
• Understanding of OT attack surfaces and cyber threats in industrial settings.
• Experience in security operations, incident response or threat hunting preferred.
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as OT SME guiding on ICS technologies and OT/cyber risks.
• Lead OT-focused detection use cases and monitoring capabilities.
• Investigate security events affecting OT and enterprise environments.
• Evaluate emerging threats and translate intelligence into defenses.
• Develop detection content, playbooks, and response procedures for OT cybersecurity.
• Mentor analysts to build OT expertise within the CSOC.
• Collaborate on cross-functional cybersecurity projects.
