Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Defense Specialist to join the CSOC in the United States (Midland, MI or Houston, TX).

You will protect Dow's global manufacturing environment by developing OT-focused detection, performing advanced investigations, and coordinating responses across OT and enterprise ecosystems. The role requires deep OT engineering knowledge, experience with ICS/SCADA, and a proactive security mindset to safeguard critical processes in industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience required.
• Minimum 3 years relevant OT/ICS security experience.
• Strong knowledge of OT technologies (DCS, PLC, SCADA) and industrial networks.
• Experience in security operations, incident response, threat hunting, or monitoring preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as OT/ICS subject matter expert for detection, analytics, and monitoring.
• Develop and enhance OT-focused detection content and playbooks.
• Investigate security events affecting OT and enterprise environments; coordinate responses.
• Evaluate threats and translate intelligence into defensive capabilities.
• Mentor analysts to grow OT cybersecurity expertise within CSOC.
