Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an experienced OT Cyber Defense Specialist to join the CSOC and protect our global manufacturing environment. The role is based in Midland, MI or Houston, TX.

You will lead OT-focused detection, investigate security events, and mentor analysts while coordinating with cross-functional teams to strengthen cyber resilience across Dow's manufacturing and enterprise landscapes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience at or above U.S. E5 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant, or 5 years relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• Deep knowledge of OT/ICS technologies and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to analyze complex technical information and communicate risks to technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as OT SME for industrial control systems, OT networks, and associated cyber risks.
• Develop and enhance OT-focused detection use cases and monitoring capabilities.
• Investigate security events affecting OT and enterprise environments, including threat hunting and forensics.
• Evaluate emerging threats and translate intelligence into actionable defensive capabilities.
• Develop detection content, playbooks, and incident response guidance for OT monitoring.
