Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an OT Cyber Defense Specialist to protect Dow's global manufacturing environment from cyber threats targeting industrial control systems.

The role is based in Midland, MI or Houston, TX and reports to the CSOC as a senior OT cybersecurity professional. You will develop OT-focused detection, perform advanced investigations, and mentor analysts while collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen Dow's cyber resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience at or above US E5 or Canadian equivalent; 5 years experience in lieu
• Minimum 3 years relevant OT/cybersecurity experience
• Deep OT/ICS knowledge across DCS/PLC/SCADA and industrial networks
• Understanding OT attack surfaces, risk vectors and threats in industrial environments
• Experience in security operations, incident response or threat hunting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as OT SME for industrial control systems and OT networks
• Develop and enhance OT-focused detection use cases and analytics
• Investigate security events in OT and enterprise environments; threat hunting and root-cause analysis
• Evaluate emerging threats and translate intelligence into defensive capabilities
• Develop detection content, playbooks and incident response guidance for OT
• Collaborate on cross-functional cybersecurity projects to improve OT security
• Mentor analysts to build OT expertise within CSOC
