Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks an experienced OT Cyber Defense Specialist to safeguard Dow's global manufacturing and CSOC environments. Based in Midland, MI or Houston, TX, you will lead OT detection development, investigations, threat hunting, and incident response coordination across industrial facilities.

You will mentor peers, stay ahead of emerging OT threats, and help translate cyber intelligence into actionable protections. Relocation not offered; US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience at or above US E5 or Canadian PO2/Sergeant or 5 years experience in lieu
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
• Deep knowledge of OT and IC technologies (DCS, PLC, SCADA, industrial networks, manufacturing operations)
• Understanding OT attack surfaces, risk vectors, and cyber threats in industrial environments
• Experience with security operations, incident response, threat hunting, or monitoring preferred
• Ability to communicate risks and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship for this position

Responsibilities

• Serve as OT SME for guidance on ICS, OT networks, and cyber risks
• Develop OT-focused detection use cases, analytics, and monitoring using MITRE ATT&CK for ICs
• Investigate security events affecting OT and enterprise environments, including threat hunting and forensics
• Evaluate emerging threats and translate intelligence into defensive capabilities
• Develop detection content, playbooks, and incident response guidance for OT monitoring
• Contribute to cross-functional projects to improve Dow's OT security posture
• Mentor analysts to expand OT expertise within CSOC
