Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an Operational Technology Cyber Defense Specialist to protect its global manufacturing environment from cyber threats. The role focuses on OT/ICS security, detection engineering, and rapid incident response across industrial control systems.

The ideal candidate has deep OT engineering experience, knowledge of OT attack surfaces, and the ability to communicate risk to technical and business stakeholders. Relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience at/above U.S. E5 or Canadian equivalent, or 5 years in lieu of a Bachelor’s.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant OT cybersecurity experience.
• Deep knowledge of OT/ICS technologies (DCS, PLC, SCADA, industrial networks).
• Understanding OT attack surfaces and cyber threats in manufacturing environments.
• Experience in security operations, incident response, threat hunting, or monitoring is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a team expert for OT, guiding on ICS, OT networks, and cyber risks.
• Lead development of OT-focused detection use cases and analytics.
• Conduct advanced investigations of OT and enterprise security events, including threat hunting and forensic analysis.
• Evaluate emerging threats and translate intelligence into defensive capabilities.
• Develop and maintain detection content, runbooks, and incident response guidance.
