Job summary

Dow is seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Defense Specialist to protect its global manufacturing environment. The role requires deep OT/ICS engineering experience, with a focus on detecting, investigating, and responding to cyber threats targeting industrial control systems.

The successful candidate will lead OT detection development, contribute to CSOC operations, and mentor other analysts while working in Midland, MI or Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience or 5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years relevant OT/ICS security experience.
• Deep knowledge of OT/ICS technologies and manufacturing environments.
• Experience with security operations, incident response, and threat hunting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as OT subject matter expert for ICS, OT networks, and related cyber risks.
• Develop OT-focused detection use cases and monitoring capabilities (MITRE ATT&CK for ICs).
• Investigate OT security events, perform threat hunting and root-cause analysis.
• Evaluate emerging threats and translate intelligence into defensive actions.
• Create and maintain OT detection content, playbooks, and incident response guidance.
• Mentor analysts to grow OT expertise within the CSOC.
