Job summary

Dow is seeking an Operational Technology Cyber Defense Specialist to protect its global manufacturing environment from OT cyber threats. The role requires deep OT engineering experience, familiarity with ICS/OT networks, and a strong focus on detection, investigation, and incident response.

You will work within the CSOC to advance Dow's OT security posture. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with OT technologies, cybersecurity monitoring, and threat intelligence, and will mentor other

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military equivalent or 5+ years relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant OT/cybersecurity experience.
• Deep knowledge of OT/IC technologies (DCS, PLC, SCADA, industrial networks).
• Experience with security operations, incident response, threat hunting or monitoring preferred.
• Ability to translate technical risks to business stakeholders.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for OT, providing guidance on industrial control systems and OT networks.
• Lead development of OT-focused detection use cases and monitoring capabilities.
• Conduct advanced investigations of OT security events including threat hunting and root-cause analysis.
• Evaluate emerging threats and translate intelligence into defensive capabilities.
• Develop detection content, playbooks, and incident response guidance for OT.
