Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an OT Cyber Defense Specialist to join the CSOC, protecting Dow's global manufacturing environments. The role combines deep OT engineering with cybersecurity to detect, investigate, and respond to threats targeting industrial control systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience at or above a U.S. E5 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant, or 5 years applicable experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant OT/ICS cybersecurity experience.
• Deep knowledge of OT/ICS technologies in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with security operations, incident response, threat hunting, or monitoring is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for OT, guidance on ICS, OT networks, and cyber risks.
• Lead OT-focused detection use cases and monitoring capabilities.
• Investigate security events affecting OT and enterprise environments; threat hunting and root cause analysis.
• Evaluate emerging threats and translate intel into defensive capabilities.
• Develop and maintain OT detection content, playbooks, and incident response guidance.
• Collaborate on cross-functional cybersecurity projects to improve OT security posture.
• Mentor analysts to grow OT expertise within CSOC.
