Dow Inc. seeks an OT Cyber Defense Specialist to protect our global manufacturing environments from cyber threats. The role combines OT engineering with cybersecurity expertise to detect, investigate and respond to incidents across OT and enterprise networks.

You will develop OT-focused detection content, perform advanced investigations, and mentor junior analysts while collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen Dow’s cyber resilience.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience at or above U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant, or 5 years relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant OT/cyber experience.
• Deep knowledge of OT/IC technologies (DCS, PLC, SCADA, industrial networks).
• Strong understanding of OT attack surfaces, risks and cyber threats in industrial environments.
• Experience in security operations, incident response, threat hunting, and forensics is preferred.
• Ability to communicate risks to technical and business stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Serve as SME for OT/ICS, guiding on industrial control systems and OT networks.
• Lead development of OT-focused detection use cases, analytics, and monitoring using MITRE ATT&CK for ICs.
• Investigate security events and incidents affecting OT and enterprise environments; conduct threat hunting and forensics.
• Evaluate emerging threats and translate intelligence into actionable defensive capabilities.
• Develop detection content, playbooks, and incident response guidance for OT cybersecurity.
• Collaborate on cross-functional cybersecurity projects to improve Dow’s OT security posture.
• Mentor analysts to grow OT expertise within CSOC.
