Job summary

Lumos Fiber is seeking a full-time Manager – OSP Construction to lead Outside Plant network builds, interfacing with subcontractors and internal teams to deliver safe, on-time fiber expansions.

You will manage scheduling, budgeting, and field operations across multiple sites near Augusta, GA, with a company vehicle and remote support.

The role demands 10+ years in OSP or fiber builds, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to process improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in OSP construction or fiber builds.
• 2-5 years leading techs and contractors in a fiber build environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, on-time, on-budget market builds.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance, repair, and upgrades of OSP facilities.
• Delegate tasks and empower contractors to meet milestones.
• Influence internal and external teams to progress and stay on target.
• Interface with local governments and communities professionally.
• Provide technical leadership and standardize processes.
• Coordinate with utilities and pole/aerial teams with engineering.
• Manage CAPEX, OPEX, and inventory tracking.
• Build and maintain a high-performing team and coach staff.
